Matthew Mebane

Matthew Mebane is an award-winning director, writer, and producer whose work has screened at Sundance, Tribeca, and Slamdance. He began his career in the camera department, working with filmmakers including Paul Thomas Anderson and Terrence Malick.

A member of the Directors Guild of America and the International Cinematographers Guild, Mebane is a recipient of a South Carolina Individual Artist Fellowship in Screenwriting. He is currently developing his first feature, The Holler, inspired by his experience as an EMT in Appalachia.
